The transport was carried out by sea vessel from Turkey to Rotterdam. There, the cargo was transshipped onto an inland vessel and transported onward to Cologne. In Cologne, the cargo was then loaded onto a heavy-duty truck for further transport to the chemical park. At the unloading site, a special transport using the SFIRO system was subsequently deployed. The use of SFIRO was essential due to the very confined space conditions and in consideration of the existing infrastructure, in order to precisely position the heavy PGS and safely place it onto the appropriately prepared elephant feet.
